Introduction
Trugi is a custodial exchange, which means your account is protected by your email address, password, and optional two-factor authentication (2FA) — there is no recovery phrase to manage. This guide explains how to sign in on a new device and how to reset your password if you forget it.
Sign in on a new device
- Open the Trugi website or app on your new device.
- Enter the email address and password registered to your account.
- If 2FA is enabled, enter the verification code when prompted.
- Once signed in, check that your balances and account details appear correctly.
Reset your password
- On the sign-in screen, select Forgot password.
- Enter your registered email address.
- Follow the link in the email you receive to set a new password.
- Sign in with your new password.
Keep your account secure
- Use a strong password that you do not reuse on other services.
- Enable 2FA for an additional layer of protection.
- Never share your password or verification codes with anyone, including support agents.
If you cannot access your email or 2FA
If you have lost access to your registered email address or your 2FA method, contact Trugi support through this Help Centre so our team can verify your identity and help you recover access.
