Introduction
Trugi is a centralised cryptocurrency exchange operated by Gluwa Nigeria. To start trading, you need to create an account, verify your email address, and complete identity verification (KYC) through your Aella account. This guide walks you through each step.
Create your account
- Go to the Trugi website or open the Trugi app and select Create account.
- Enter your email address and set a strong password.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code sent to your email to confirm your address.
Until your email is verified, you cannot access account features. Until your identity is verified, you can sign in and view market prices, but placing trade orders, NGN deposits and withdrawals, and sending or receiving crypto are not available.
Verify your identity with Aella
- Select Verify identity in the app or from the banner on your Home screen.
- Link your Aella account and follow the verification steps (BVN or NIN).
- Once verification is complete, your account shows a Verified badge and standard transaction limits apply.
Already an Aella Tier 3 Gold member? You are pre-verified — no extra KYC steps are needed.
Unlock unlimited limits
To remove withdrawal limits, complete the additional Level 2 verification through Aella. You can start this from the Unlock unlimited limit banner on your Home screen.
What each verification level allows
- Email verified only: sign in and view market prices.
- Verified (Level 1): trading, NGN deposits and withdrawals, and crypto transfers within standard limits.
- Verified (Level 2): unlimited withdrawal limits.
